Cohasset is a beautiful coastal town located about 27 miles south of Boston. It is located on the MBTA Greenbush Line and there is a commuter rail stop right in town. Cohasset has a lovely town center with restaurants and shops. There's also a pretty town common, nice parks, walking trails, and beaches. Cohasset has its own public school system consisting of four schools. The Joseph Osgood School houses students in grades PK-2, Deer Hill School houses students in grades 3-5, Cohasset Middle School houses students in grades 6-8, and Cohasset High School houses students in grades 9-12. There are approximately 1,400 students currently enrolled in the district with a 12.1-to-1 student-teacher ratio.
